CSIR NET June 2025 Exam Date and Schedule

In two shifts on 28th July 2025  the NTA CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exams will be conducted . The morning shift (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) will include Life Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences. The afternoon shift (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM) will cover Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The exam duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) with no breaks between sections the interested candidates who are appearing in the CSIR NET JUNE 2025 examination must note that  the question paper consists of three parts (A, B, and C) with objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs). How to Download  Admit Card

  3. Enter your registration number and date of birth.

  5. Download and print the admit card.

Candidates must carry documents to the exam center  like Printed copy of the admit card, a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, etc.), and a passport-sized photograph for verificatiobn. The candidates will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall without these documents.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree (M.Sc or equivalent) with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates) in relevant subjects. Final-year students can also apply provisionally.

  • Age Limit:

    • JRF: Maximum 30 years (relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/female candidates).

    • Assistant Professor/PhD Admission: No upper age limit.

  • Additional Eligibility: Candidates with B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS and 4-year bachelor’s degrees (with 75% marks) are eligible for JRF but not for Assistant Professor.

CSIR NET Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The CSIR NET 2025 exam consists of three sections:

  • Part A (General Aptitude): logical reasoning, analytical ability, and quantitative skills is common for all subjects.
